It is truly spring leaping into summer here in Port Townsend as we experience two days in a row at nearly 80 degrees. The bead shop is fully stocked with new treasures being brought in almost daily. We will soon be adding more gemstones, roman glass, Chinese crystal beads and much, much more. I also have a big box of vintage 1930-1940's German glass beads to wash and restring for the shop. 

On a more personal note, as the world becomes more chaotic and dangerous; I think reach for any beloved craft or learning a new one will save us and maybe the world too. Craft brings so much not only to our lives but to the lives of those around us. We can speak craft not hate. We can speak craft and love in the same breath.
