What a whirlwind of a summer it has been! In fact, my last posting was June. People were wonderful this summer and I am so very grateful to the shoppers and visitors and locals who came in to play beads with us. I still have piles of new inventory to get out into stock but I am working on it as often as possible! Good thing I do not need more than 4 or 5 hours of sleep normally.
I have strived to make my bead shop a place of wonder, color, inspiration, and friendship. Beads are truly my main THING although I love my yarn shop, embellishment shop and my gallery. I have been saying and truly believing that creativity and the making of things with our hands and the people to people connections that often brings; will save us. Save us from the stress, anxiety and dark days that can surround us.
It does not matter if you are at the top of your beading or chosen craft field, but you are making things with heart, soul and thought. Good for all of us! We can spread the intentions of kindness and gathering or peace and love to those around us.
As for me, you will find me in the shop or studio most every day in one of those places. Bring your work in to show it off, to share or if you need just a smidgen of advice or help.
